If you were to take a poll (I'm sure they already have on this), but I bet the BLT or Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich would be #1. If it isn't, it should be. On the Keto Lifestyle, we don't really recommend too many tomatoes, but for this salad, a few 'maters are worth the carbs.
Serves: One
Ingredients:
2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1 tablespoon red onion, chopped
1 ounce sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
2 ounces cooked bacon, crumbled
1/8 cup tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil mayonnaise, homemade preferable
Optional: replace mayo with ranch dressing (use Keto type)
Directions:
Layer salad ingredients on a plate and top with mayonnaise or dressing as desired. All the pleasure and no guilt!
